What is RIDP?
RIDP (Product Registration and Identification) is a private Brazilian initiative that offers a unified product registry. Each registered product receives a unique identifier in the format RIDP000000001, plus a QR Code and a Code 128 barcode ready for printing.
Unlike complex ERP solutions or expensive international standards, RIDP was designed for the Brazilian market, with accessible pricing, registration in 5 tabs and one-click code generation.
Important: RIDP does not replace the official GS1 GTIN/EAN. RIDP identifiers are proprietary and serve as a private identification registry. If you already have GTIN/EAN, you can provide it during registration.

Does RIDP replace GTIN/EAN?
No. RIDP is a private registry of proprietary identifiers. It does not replace the official GS1 GTIN/EAN. If you already have GTIN/EAN, you can provide it in the product registration. Acceptance on marketplaces depends on each platform's standards.
Can I register as many products as I want?
Yes. The annual plan of R$ 99.90 has no product or identifier limits. Each product can have as many codes as you need.
Can anyone see my products?
It depends on you. Each product can be marked as public (appears in public search) or private (only your company sees it). You control field by field what remains visible.
Does it work with barcode readers?
Yes. RIDP generates QR Code (for smartphones) and Code 128 (for conventional readers). Just print the PDF label and use the reader.
When will RFID be available?
The structure is ready. The API to receive RFID reader data is in Phase 5 of the roadmap. If you need it now, talk to us.
