Terms of Use
Last updated: 18/10/2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using the RIDP platform β Product Registration and Identification, you fully agree with these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Service description
RIDP is a private platform for product registration, identification and consultation. It allows companies to create product records, generate unique identifiers (RIDP), QR Codes and barcodes (Code 128), publish public consultation pages and receive RFID tag reads via API.
RIDP is not an official association, regulatory body or substitute for GS1 GTIN/EAN. RIDP identifiers are proprietary and do not guarantee automatic acceptance by marketplaces, ERPs or retail systems.
3. Registration and account
To use the service, the company must register by providing true, complete and updated information. Registration goes through approval by the platform administrator. The company is responsible for keeping its credentials secure and for all activities performed on its account.
4. User responsibilities
By registering products, the user declares to be responsible for the information provided and to have authorization to register them. It is forbidden to use the platform to:
- Register illegal, counterfeit or rights-infringing products;
- Insert offensive, defamatory or illegal content;
- Use RIDP identifiers in a misleading or fraudulent way;
- Perform reverse engineering, mass scraping or hacking attempts;
- Share API keys with unauthorized third parties.
5. Plans and payment
RIDP offers the annual plan of R$ 99.90 with unlimited features (products, QR Codes, barcodes and RIDP identifiers), with no per-unit charge. Payment is annual and there is no proportional refund in case of early cancellation, unless otherwise required by law.
6. Intellectual property
The RIDP brand, logo and platform are owned by the responsible company. The data registered by users belongs to the users themselves. RIDP identifiers are issued in the name of the registering company, but the format, database and platform are owned by RIDP.
7. Availability and limitation of liability
RIDP strives to keep the service available 24/7, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss resulting from use of the service, except in cases of proven willful misconduct or gross negligence.
8. Suspension and cancellation
RIDP may suspend or cancel accounts that violate these terms, without prejudice to other applicable measures. Users may request cancellation at any time by emailing contato@ridp.org.
9. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The jurisdiction of the district of the RIDP responsible party is elected to resolve any conflicts.
